Important information › Terms of Service
This is the agreement every GradeViews account accepts in the app, published here so you can read it before you join.
1. What GradeViews is
GradeViews turns school documents you upload into a per-child dashboard and weekly study plans. It is a tool for parents and guardians — accounts are for adults (18+); children don't create accounts or use GradeViews directly.
2. Changes and availability
GradeViews is new, and we're still improving it. Features can change or be removed, and we can't promise the service will always be available.
3. Your account and your data rights
Use your own accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and only add children you are the parent or legal guardian of — and only upload school documents you legitimately have. You're responsible for activity under your account.
4. Estimates, not official records
Everything GradeViews shows — grades, averages, projections, study plans — is an estimate built from what you upload. It is not an official school record and is no substitute for the school's own gradebook or advice from your child's teachers.
5. What you are agreeing to when you upload
You confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of each child you add, and that you have the right to share the documents you upload. By uploading them you give GradeViews permission to read them and to use what they contain to build that child's dashboard, study plans and progress views for you. That permission exists so we can provide the service to you and nothing else — we do not sell your family's data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting the child or your account, which removes the data.
6. Suggestions, not advice
GradeViews offers suggestions for you to weigh with your own judgment. It is not educational, psychological, medical or legal advice, it does not diagnose anything, and it is not a substitute for your child's teachers, school counsellor or any professional. Decisions about your child are yours.
7. AI-generated content
Study plans, insights, and document readings are generated by AI (Claude, by Anthropic). To make them we send Anthropic the documents you upload, which can include your child's name, school, classes and grades, and, for study plans and insights, your child's first name, grade and state, classes, marks and topics, assignment names and due dates, and what you tell us about your child. We ask your permission once, as a separate choice with its own Agree, before anything is sent, and you can withdraw it at any time in Profile › Privacy & data › Smart Review; while it is off, nothing is sent to Anthropic: grades are typed in by hand and plans are general, without AI. Our Privacy Disclosure says more. The results are suggestions to review with your own judgment, and like the grades themselves they can contain mistakes.
8. Plans and the free trial
GradeViews has two subscriptions, bought in the app through Apple: GradeViews Monthly at $4.99 a month, and GradeViews School Year at $39.99 a year. School Year is the plan's name, not your school's calendar: it runs for 12 months from the day it starts. Eligible new subscribers get a 14-day free trial, one free trial per Apple Account across both plans. The trial includes every feature. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, Apple charges the plan's price when it ends, and the plan then renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. A plan belongs to your GradeViews account, not to one device, so it works on each device where you sign in to the app with that account. A plan or membership covers the GradeViews account that bought it.
9. Founding membership
A founding membership is a single payment of $149: a one-time purchase of a license to use GradeViews, for one family account. You can buy it in the app, where Apple takes the payment; you can also buy it on our website, where Stripe takes it and we never receive your card details. It is not a subscription: there is no renewal and no further charge, and the membership lasts for as long as Saraz A.I., Inc. operates GradeViews. It includes every feature, covers every child on the family account, and belongs to one family account at a time. If you bought one on our website, email help@gradeviews.com and we'll link it to your account in the app.
10. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel a plan at any time in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your plan renews to stop that renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Deleting your GradeViews account does not cancel a plan bought through Apple — cancel it first, or Apple will keep billing you. We don't issue refunds; refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies.
11. Fair use
Don't attempt to break, overload, or probe the service, work around usage limits, access other families' data, or use GradeViews for anything unlawful. Daily limits on uploads and plan generation keep the service affordable for everyone.
12. Ending things
You can delete your account anytime from Profile. That erases your account and every child's data permanently; our Privacy Disclosure lists the few records that stay and how long backups last. Deleting your account does not cancel a plan bought through Apple; cancel it in your Apple Account settings first. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or abuse the service.
13. No warranty
GradeViews is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made based on the estimates it shows — always verify anything important with your school.
14. Our name and our marks
GradeViews™ and the GradeViews wordmark are trademarks of Saraz A.I., Inc. A U.S. trademark application is pending. This agreement gives you the right to use the app — it does not give you any right to use our name, logo, or branding, and you agree not to use them, or anything confusingly similar, without our written permission. Screenshots of your own family's dashboards for personal use are of course fine.
15. One agreement
Our Privacy Disclosure is part of this agreement. Purchases made through Apple are also governed by Apple's own terms.
16. Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll flag it in the app before the change takes effect. The version and date below tell you which terms you're reading.
